to students in grades 5-8
who reside within the SAU 16 district.

the instruction of football, teamwork, sportsmanship, and competition

while promoting personal responsibility,
and offering participants an opportunity
to enjoy all that is best about youth sports.

Registration for the 2008 Season
Click on the Player Registration link at the left of this page, download the forms, and follow the instructions. (Note: unlike past years, no information packages or registration forms will be MAILED to you; all info and forms must be obtained from this website; all registrations must be returned to us by US Mail, so that we can see a date stamp.)
Players will be accepted into the Seahawks program immediately after May 15th, based on registrations received on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to returning players. Both accepted and wait-listed players will be notified at that time of their status. Registrations will still be accepted after May 15 and will be placed on rosters and notified ONLY if there is available space.
Note: we do NOT separate the players into the East and West teams until mid- or late- August, so you will not know until then (a) what team your son is on, (b) who his head coach will be, or (c) what his game schedule will be.
New Players
FLASH, May 26th: REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN, due to three new teams being added (see under NEW for 2008!).
New players should return their registrations by US Mail starting Tuesday, April 15, in order to establish priority on the registration list. Space is limited for all grades, and very limited for new players in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades, so it is EXTREMELY important to return materials AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Returning Players
Players returning from 2007 must return their registration paperwork to be received by May 15th in order to hold their spot on the roster. Returning players whose paperwork is received after May 15th will LOSE THEIR PRIORITY and will be PLACED ON THE WAITING LIST.
Practices
Practices will begin Monday, August 11th. Practices are 5 days a week, 5:00 - 7:30 pm, Mon-Fri until school begins, at the old Exeter High School on Linden Street, Exeter.
Home Field
Our home field is behind CMS.
Twilight Football Camp
We STRONGLY RECOMMEND the Twilight Football camp run at EHS as a way to get in the football frame of mind, learn drills, skills, and plays, meet new coaches, and step up the conditioning! This is especially important for (a) NEW PLAYERS and (b) any player who expects to miss early days of practice August 11 or after.
Twilight Camp will be held evenings the week of Sunday, July 27th, through Thursday, July 31st. Check the Exeter High School website late May/early June for registration information.
