Equipment Turn-In
PLACE: The Seahawk Storage/Equipment Shed at the CMS (by the concession stand)
DATE: Tuesday, November 10th, 2009
TIME: 5:00pm – 6:40pm
5:00pm-5:25pm: B Teams
5:25pm-5:50pm: A Teams
5:50pm-6:15pm: JV Teams
6:15pm-6:40pm: Varsity Teams
100% participation is expected from all our Seahawk families. We have a team of volunteers giving up their evening to help us with this effort of check in and equipment organization so that we can account for all 2009 Seahawk inventory. As you would expect, the turn in of 230 sets of shoulder pads, helmets, girdles, 920 leg/thigh pads, 460 pairs of pants….well, you probably get the gist of this: it does take a lot of coordination and volunteer time to gather it all. Please, please do your part in getting your player’s equipment to our facility on the date and the time indicated below:
In addition, your cooperation is needed for the following: (This list of expectations of how we need the equipment to be returned is asked of all families so that we don’t have to find volunteers at a later time to help us with the chore of readying equipment for the 2010 season. As you know, scrounging for volunteers is not a fun venture!)
- All game/practice jerseys, girdles, pants, and shells are expected to be washed.
- All thigh and knee pads MUST be packed in the practice pants. You will be asked to pack the pants at turn-in if you have not done this.
- All girdle pads MUST be packed in girdle. You will be asked to pack the girdle at turn-in if you have not done this.
To help you organize your player’s equipment return here is your checklist of what we need back from you (please refer to this before leaving your home on Nov. 10th!):
* Helmet
* Shoulder pads
* Practice jersey
* Game jersey
* Practice pants – PACKED with 2 thigh pads and 2 knee pads
* Game pants – Not packed!
* Girdle – PACKED with 2 hip pads and 1 tailbone pad
