Who can participate in the Seahawks program?
Students in the 5th through 8th grades living within SAU #16 can participate. Players in the 5th grade must be at least 9 years old before the 1st game, and players in the 6th grade must be no more than 13 years old before Sept 1st. Players in the 7th and 8th grades must not turn 15 prior to October 1st.

Are there weight limits?
Yes - In the Junior Division (A abd B teams), players must weigh a minimum of 50 lbs and may not weigh over 155 lbs.
Ball carriers may not weigh over 115 lbs.
In the Senior Division (JV and Varisty teams), there are no weight limits.

How do I register my child for the program?
Register by;
- downloading registration forms from this website
- completing the Registration Form and the Parental Consent Form
- MAILING by US MAIL to "Exeter Seahawks, PO Box 394, Exeter, NH 03833" the completed forms with a check for $125 (if after May 15, $175) made out to "Exeter Seahawks".

Where do the Seahawks play their home games?
Our home field is behind CMS.

Is there bus service to the games?
No. Parents are responsible for getting their players to games. There is no bus service provided.

What do I do if my player can't make practice?
Phone the hotline at 772-0319 by 4:00 pm. Messages are hand-delivered to the coaches just before practice begins.

Do I need to buy equipment if my child makes the roster?
Some.
The Seahawks supply each player with;
- helmet
- shoulder pads
- practice and game jerseys
- practice and game pants
(including one set of knee and thigh pads)
- a girdle with pads

The player must supply his own cleats, dark blue socks and belt (available through the Seahawks, cup and mouthguard.

Do we keep the game jersey at the end of the season?
No. All equipment supplied by the Seahawks at equipment fitting must be returned at the end of the season at equipment turn in.

What size footballs do you use?
Our footballs are youth size.

How are the teams divided?

Is it important to attend the Twilight Football Camp at Exeter High School?
Most of the Seahawks coaches are observers at the Twilight Camp. It is a great opportunity for the players to begin to get to know the coaches, and for the coaches to get to know the players. It definitely assists the coaches with their evaluations.

Where/when are practices held?
Practices are held at the old High School field on Linden St in Exeter. Beginning Monday, August 16, practices will be 5-7:30pm Mon-Fri. Once school begins, practices are tentatively scheduled for 5:30-7:30pm, Tues-Fri for the Varsity division, and Wed-Fri for the Junior division.

When are games played?
A Team games are usually Sat at 9am.
B Team games are immediately after A Team, usually around 10:30am.

JV games are either Sat at 6pm or Sun immediately after Varsity games.
Varsity games are Sat following the JV games or Sun at 1:00pm.
